It’s funny how the failures of the past
and the lessons that we think we’ve learned
can lead us right into our next mistakes
like a never ending feedback loop
taking us down the different roads
that lead all in the same direction
Away from what we really want
and right into the hands of self-defeat
The challenge is in knowing
what we’re supposed to take away
from each and every moment
which is hardly ever obvious
but a;; these opportunities
are meant to build to something in the end
